Publish a form for a cohort

Create a targeted form and verify it from the learner’s perspective before sharing it widely.

Build

  1. Open Content → Form Builder and create a form.
  2. Choose the submission mode deliberately; a locked submission cannot be edited like an ongoing response.
  3. Add sections, questions, hints, and validation.
  4. Configure conditional rules if needed.
  5. Save the structure.

Target and test

Under Permissions, select the intended cohort, any working-group restrictions, and submission dates. Preview the form and test each question path, required field, and upload.

Publish after all changes are saved. Share the learner-facing link and verify access using a learner account in the intended audience. Also check that an account outside the audience cannot submit when restrictions are intended.

Confirm collection

Submit a representative response in an appropriate test environment. Open Form Submissions and check that the answers and status are correct. Confirm the available export meets your reporting needs.

If learners cannot access the live form, check published status, profile linkage, audience membership, and dates. See Advanced form rules.
