Verify an application

Use Applications → University Verification to record whether an applicant's university information is confirmed.

Complete the checks

  1. Open the application and review its university information and supporting documents.
  2. Check the information with the appropriate university records or contact.
  3. For each of Attendance at University, Expected Graduation Year, and Program Enrolled, select Verified or Not Verified.
  4. Add notes explaining any information you could not confirm. Notes are required if any check is Not Verified.
  5. Select Save Verification and check the saved outcome and last-saved details.

All three checks must have a decision before saving. An unanswered check is not the same as Not Verified. All three confirmed checks produce a verified result; any unconfirmed check produces a not-verified result.

Correct a decision

Reopen a record you can still access, correct the checks and notes, and save again. The application history records the new verification. Contact the programme review manager if you cannot find the record or need to resolve conflicting evidence.

University verification checks the information; it does not itself accept the applicant into the programme. See Your role and Fast-tracked applications.
