Manage applicant personal information

Use Admin → Manage PII for the targeted anonymisation of unsuccessful applicants.

Review before anonymising

  1. Select the cohort and relevant review-status filters.
  2. Read the preview list and any duplicate-of-enrolled-learner indicators.
  3. Inspect the records to confirm which applicants should be included.
  4. Select only the intended records.
  5. Read the confirmation, then run anonymisation when authorised by your programme’s process.
  6. Review the reported applicant and document counts.

Anonymisation removes identifying applicant information and associated material according to the platform’s rules. It cannot be undone through the user interface.

Understand the scope

This workflow targets unsuccessful applicants and protects enrolled learner records. A duplicate applicant can be flagged as related to an enrolled learner; read that indication before acting.

The platform retains designated reporting information while clearing personal and unclassified form answers. Published form snapshots preserve the classifications that apply to answers already collected.

Use Users for account access, Learner Management for enrolled programme records, and Journal moderation for shared journal content. These actions have different scopes and should be chosen according to the task.
