Roles, groups, and responsibilities

People can have more than one responsibility. Their actual menu depends on the permissions assigned in Access Control, not on a job title alone.

These are existing group names, not a promise that every deployment grants the same permission set to each group. Inspect the user's actual groups and permissions in Admin → Access Control (RBAC).

Panel member, director, facilitator, and content editor describe jobs; they are not necessarily built-in group names. Set up a liaison officer when university-scoped access is needed. Collaborators join through a learner's invitation rather than a general staff invitation.
